Branding is what I do best.
I fell into concrete. Actually, I married into a concrete family. It’s like marrying into the mob. You live, breathe and smell like concrete construction. I knew that if we were going to dinner at mom and dad’s, the talk around the table would centre around jobs, clients and of course…the weather.
Rain is our worst enemy.
When we started into the trade, we were not thinking about building our Brand. We were just trying to pay the bills. It was an era of paying $3 more to highlight our name in the yellow pages book and advertise with print ads in the newspaper. A handshake accepted the quote and people paid by cheque and cash. One time, we were compensated with an antique Coca-Cola machine because the customer ran out of money. We still have it. It sits, restored, as a reminder of our early days.
I have a lifetime of stories and I’m not done yet! I started Wahoo because I know what it’s like to live with a hum-drum brand and to turn it into a vivid, bold, powerful asset that is recognized across BC.
Today, I am bringing my decades of knowledge and experience to my clients as their Brand Consultant.
